Then, on my own, I started researching podcasts and listening to various church services while I ran. I eventually stumbled upon Revelation Wellness and fell in love. I became a Certified Revelation Wellness Instructor in November of 2020. Plus, I continued to meet with fellow teachers before school to pray. It was empowering to see the connection we made with each other everyday.
In October of 2017 I became an Independent Optavia Health Coach. I have been in the weight loss industry for over 20 years (before this was WW) and have coached many people to success. Personally, I lost over 70 lbs in 1998 and have kept it off ever since.
As an Optavia coach I work one-on-one with clients, cheering them on and keeping them on track toward their goals. Also, I have started my own podcast and plan to incorporate a faith-based exercise program to my resume.
Recently, after 22 years of teaching, I decided not to return to the classroom. Now, with the support of my husband and kids, we are putting our faith in God.
I believe He has greater plans for me, for our family. I am now jumping head first into my Wellness Coaching business and am ready to cheer others on to find freedom in a healthy body and a healthy mind.
